I’ve been to every single We Fest since it started in 1983 that sign that has posted there. I made that for a campground with all the different towns we were a mash unit that year.

96'-03'.... Eight wonderful shows... wish I could get up there for Koe Wetzel.... you'll are in for a East Texas revival. 🤣🤣🤣

Sadly have gone for the last 10+ years a group of 6 that grew to a group of 16 for at least the last 7-8 yrs that stayed at the same place and sat in the same seats every year and sadly last year was our last year as our ticket prices soared from last year (sat right behind the main VIP seating) as well as hotel prices more than 100% increase… all that after we stood in endless lines even though we didn’t have to go to will call etc…. Sub par entertainment this coming year…. We use to know before we left the festival what at least 2 headliners where for the next year and this year they wanted us to renew without a single headliner having been announced yet… thank god we bailed cause sorry but what a disappointing lineup… sadly it has gone downhill literally….(the hill use to be sooooooo much fun and met so many people up there and could get any kind of drink you wanted and not all this bottom shelf crap they have now and the entertainment on the hill was so much fun pre bowl time and after as well we would go up to the hill for the bands after the main concerts …. downhill since it went away from being locally owned ….. so sad…. So many memories were made by our group over the years…. It was a pretty easy decision after all the crap we dealt with last year…. Not our hotel just the festival ….Attendance just gets less and less each year compared to what it used to be; record breaking each year …..so sad such a great musical festival is slowly dying out…this next year it is Nashville and prob for less than what we would spend at wefest with the price hikes…time to make memories somewhere else…
