PARKING

Accessible Parking: Located on the east side of the venue, near the East Entrance. To park in this area, you must have purchased an Accessible Parking pass. Spaces are first come first serve. Please be prepared to present your state issued disabled license plate, hang tag or placard, to festival staff upon your arrival.

Accessible Camping: We have accessible standard and electrical camping in Northwoods and Lake Sallie. These spaces are subject to availability. If these are sold out you may purchase a site in any campground and communicate with our ADA Hospitality Team for transportation on-site. Please be prepared to present your state-issued disabled license plate, hang tag or placard to festival staff upon your arrival.

Soo Pass Ranch is a large ranch with various types of terrain including grass, hard packed dirt, and gravel roadways. Plan accordingly as there are some distances to be covered to get to all of the areas and stages on the site, and as with any natural terrain, rain can impact the conditions.

ADA Hospitality Tent

Visit the ADA Tent at the entrance of the accessible seating area in the concert bowl (right-front side of the Reserved Lawn Chair seating). This is also the golf cart transport pick up and drop off spot. Northwoods and Lake Sallie are also the designated area for recharging wheelchairs, scooters, and medical devices. Remember, guests use this power at their own risk, and WE Fest is not responsible for any personal equipment.

Accessible Viewing Area

There will be an Accessible Viewing Area within the venue for guests who use wheelchairs, have significant mobility disabilities, or who have difficulty standing for long periods of time. The accessible viewing area is located on the right side of the venue at the back of the reserved lawn seating area. An accessible bathroom is nearby. Staff will manage the viewing area accordingly to make sure all patrons are comfortable during busy times.

Golf Carts

Golf carts will be available to transport guests with mobility impairments to and from camping and the viewing area. Rules, guidelines, and schedules for golf cart transportation will be disseminated on-site to the guests who might require this service. There is also a golf cart taxi service for a fee.

Powered Mobility Devices

Guests with mobility disabilities are welcome to use motorized wheelchairs and three or four wheeled scooters. For safety reasons, guests may NOT use golf carts, all-terrain vehicles, two wheeled scooters or motorbikes, either in the venue itself, or in the parking and camping areas.

ASL Interpreting Services

ASL requests need to be made at least four weeks prior to the event to ensure they can be accommodated.

Prescription Medicines

Prescriptions must have a prescription label. Photo ID must match the prescription label. For the safety of our staff please dispose of all medical waste/syringes in the proper receptacles in our medical tents. Guests needing a cool place to store their medications can contact ada@wefest.com to make those arrangements.

Special Dietary Needs

If a guest has special medical dietary restrictions, a personal amount of food will be allowed in if accompanied by a doctor’s note. Please contact ada@wefest.com with any questions or concerns.

SERVICE ANIMALS – Definition, Policies, and Procedures

WE Fest welcomes and supports the rights and attendance of all persons with disabilities that rely on the special skills of a trained service animal. What we DO NOT tolerate misrepresenting pets service animals.

Service Animal Definition: A ‘service animal’ means “any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. The work or tasks performed by a service animal must be directly related to the handler’s disability. Emotional support or comfort animals are not considered service animals under the ADA and therefore are not allowed at WE Fest.

Service Animal Policies:

For our guests with disabilities who bring their service animal to WE Fest, we ask that you review and follow the policies outlined below:

  1. Service animals must be accompanied by the handler with the disability at all times.
  2. Service animals must be under the control and supervision of their handler at all times.
  3. Service animals are not permitted to be left in camp unattended under any circumstances.
  4. Handlers are required to be prepared for, and clean-up after, their animals at all times.
  5. We reserve the right to remove and/or refuse access to any service animal from the campgrounds or venues if that animal is deemed to be a health or safety threat to festival patrons, staff, or other service animals, or in violation of these policies.
  6. All service animals must be credentialed by the WE Fest staff (see the procedures below).

Service Animal Procedures:

All guests with disabilities attending WE Fest with a service animal will need to have that animal credentialed by WE Fest staff before entering the main gate. This process will be performed quickly and respectfully by our Accessibility Staff.

At the entrance gate let staff know you need your service animal credentialed. The accessibility team will be called over to verify your service animal, record your contact information, and provide a collar tag for your service animal. Security/Staff will check for all animals to have a properly credentialed WE Fest collar tag every time they enter the venue.

Remember, Service Animals are allowed, all other dogs are NOT!
