North Carolina native, BLAKE PROEHL always had his sights set on the NFL, inspired by the legacy his father, Ricky Proehl, has built in world of profession football. However, in 2021, while playing for the Minnesota Vikings, he suffered a severe leg injury that changed the course of his life. During the process of his recovery, Blake discovered a new passion for music, first by teaching himself to play the guitar and then by immersing himself in songwriting. What began as a therapeutic outlet blossomed into a profound love for music and eventually surpassed his football aspirations. After three seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, Blake made the bold decision to follow his heart and pursue a career in music, channeling his experiences and emotions into his art.
In 2025, Blake turned his focus toward building his team, his catalog and his music career in Nashville. He is managed by Jared Cotter, Managing Partner at Range Media Partners, and Abbey Adams, Owner of Nightingale Entertainment. For touring, he signed with Meredith Jones and Chris Burrus at CAA. In the Fall of 2025, following his most recent release, “Hail Mary”, he toured clubs through the South, North-East and Midwest. In November, he opened for his friend, Michael Sanzone at The Roxy in LA, The Bowery Ballroom in NY, and Cannery Hall in Nashville. Since beginning his musical adventure, with a TikTok video where he surprised his grandma by singing for her at the piano, he has organically built an international audience through the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, and South Africa. He currently has over 14.6 Million streams and plans to release a 4 song EP in Quarter 1 of 2026. It will include a new focus track, along with Blake’s last three releases: “Hail Mary”, “Miss Carolina”, and his biggest streaming song yet, “Crazy Stupid Love”, which is nearing 5 Million streams. In March, he can be found playing live in Berlin and London for the C2C (Country to Country) Festival; and no doubt, there will be many exciting announcements to follow for Blake Proehl.
