CAMPSITE DECORATING CONTEST

We had 38 competing campsites in the WE Fest Campsite Decorating Contest sponsored by Nicolet Law this year. WOW! Y’all out did yourself. The judges had a hoot checking out all the campsites but a very difficult time selecting the winners.
The First Place winner blew the judges away with his “WE in ’83” first hand experience. Larry has been to nearly every WE Fest and brought so many photos and stories of the “80s” and beyond. The Runner-ups certainly know how to party hardy ’80’s style. The bar, the stage and the costumes were a blast from the past for real!

PAINT WE FEST BLUE!
Friday we will show our gratitude for our military, law enforcement and first responders. Help us show support by wearing BLUE, as we Paint WE Fest Blue. The National Anthem will be sung by Susan Janko along with the Color Guard Flag Ceremony.
We are honored to be joined by the Fargo Police to recognize their service to our community and pay tribute to Fargo PD officer, Jake Wallin.

ALSO – Did you know you can Round Up your WE Fest purchases to support Soldiers 6? You’ll find the option when you activate your RFID wristband. Soldiers 6 is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Minnesota. Society 6 provides honorably discharged veterans, police officers, firefighters, paramedics, correctional officers, and 911 dispatchers with specially trained K-9’s. These special dogs will become their Battle Buddy and help guide them through the difficult days in life. They chose the name Soldier’s 6 because that is what a service dog has, its Battle Buddy’s 6 (or back).

It’s Time for Our WE Fest Family Photo Album!
Every family has them. Wacky Uncle Larry with the lumpy purple wig. Cousin Sue who has never met a stranger. And Flo, who we are not sure is actually related but is included in all the reunions. WE Fest has been busy building our family tree for 40 years and it’s full of wonderful nuts! For our 40th Anniversary, we’ve created the WE Fest Family Photo Album with our own archived gems and photos that WE Festers have submitted. It’s a digital album that will be debuted at the 40th Birthday Party on Wednesday, Aug. 2. It will also be shown throughout WE Fest on the big screens. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have. Baggo Tournament
This competition is legendary! Up to 128 teams can play. The winner of the Miller Bracket will face off against the winner of the Leinenkugels bracket for the GRAND PRIZE! Held directly in front of the WE Bar located on the north side of the bowl.
