Driveable RVs are considered both a steering mechanism and sleeping unit. Any vehicles accompanying an RV must purchase a separate vehicle pass/campsite.
The only way to guarantee a camping spot next to friends is to arrive and enter your campground together. We do not allow people to rope off camping spaces or save spots. All campgrounds are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. You can purchase an Early Entry campground pass to enter the campgrounds early and claim your camping spot.
Yes, but we don’t encourage you to leave your camping spot with your vehicle. Once you are in we encourage you to stay in. We provide a free shuttle bus service for our campers into town on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, times TBA. It loads just outside the West Gate in the North portion of the Shuttle bus area. The bus pick-ups up and drops off at the Fairgrounds and also downtown where you can access the beach, restaurants, clothing, banks, groceries, adult beverages and the hospital all within walking distance.
Yes. Please let the campground staff know that you plan to use a generator as you enter a campground. All generators must be turned off for quiet hours beginning at 2:00 AM.
No, we do not allow any firewood to be brought from off-site. We will have firewood available for purchase at the campground entrances. Please bring fire rings, they will not be provided.
All campsites are approximately 20×40. Your entire camp setup must fit within the campsite. If your camper or RV is larger than 40 feet, you must purchase two campsites.
The farthest campground away from the concert entrance is approximately a 15 minute walk. Most other campgrounds are a 5 to 10 minute walk to the entrances. Please see the camping map for details.
All electrical sites are 30 amps. Please remember to bring at least a 50-foot-long extension cord.
Each campsite is allowed one vehicle (including a motorcycle) and one sleeping unit. A driveable RV is considered both.
You can have one vehicle and one sleeping unit per campsite. Your entire camp setup must fit in your allotted campsite, of 20×40.
If you purchased VIP Early Arrival along with your VIP campsite, you can arrive to start setting up on Saturday, July 27, Sunday, July 28, or Tuesday, July 30 (note: campgrounds are closed on Monday). No overnight camping will be allowed until Tuesday, July 30.
If you purchased GA Early Arrival, you can gain access to the campgrounds starting on Tuesday, July 30.
Campers may begin to stage their vehicles on the road starting Monday, July 29 at 12:00 PM for access into the campgrounds on Tuesday. Any vehicle arriving prior to that time will not be permitted to park on the shoulder, will be subject to removal, and enforcement action taken by the MN State Patrol. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Vehicles staged on the road after 12:00 PM on Monday, July 29, must be staged on the shoulder of the road and do so at their own risk. All standard sites are 20X40, so if you have an RV that exceeds this size you must purchase two camp sites. No campers over 30 feet long will be allowed in Northwoods due to the trees and hills.
There will be a designated parking/camping area for people with special accessibility needs. We offer accessible campsites, including electrical sites, in Lake Sallie and Northwoods.
